This wonderful video is an introduction to Neil Harbisson, an artist and composer considered by many to be the worlds first Cyborg. Born with complete colour blindness he has created a device that translates colour into sound so that he can perceive the colours around him. He has memorised the tones the different colours create to and now dreams in colour. He says when he dreams it is not the software creating the sounds for the colours but his brain, the software and his brain have united and that is what makes him a cyborg. He has even managed to convince the UK passport office to allow him to be wearing the device in his passport photo as he says it is an extension of his body
